This service entails conducting initial and final measurements on all issuing and receiving tanks to determine the actual quantity of petroleum products loaded or discharged.

The survey includes:

• Dipping of product tanks to establish volume readings.
• Measurement of product temperature to determine density corrections.
• Determination of water levels and identification of free water presence.
• Verification of tank reference heights for measurement accuracy.
• Inspection and verification of measuring instruments and tank calibration charts to ensure integrity and compliance.
• Computation and reporting of quantities transferred using internationally recognized standards and methodologies (e.g., API/ASTM).
• Assessment of any observed loss or gain during product transfer operations, supported by detailed analysis and documentation.
• Issuance of protest / reserve letter as the case may be.
• Electronic reporting of findings at each stage of the survey.
• Issuance of protest letters, where applicable, with soft copies sent via email.

Note: Original hard copies can be sent through a customer-nominated courier. The customer shall pay the courier fee directly to the courier.
