- Measurement of tank contents through manual or automated gauging.
- Determination of product temperature and density for accurate volume correction to standard conditions.
- Measurement of free water levels and identification of any contaminants.
- Verification of tank reference heights, calibration charts, and measurement instruments to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Application of internationally accepted standards and methodologies (API/ASTM) for quantity computation.
- Documentation and reporting of all observed quantities and transfer data.
- Evaluation of any quantity variances (loss or gain) between issuing and receiving tanks, with analysis of potential causes.
- Issuance of protest or reserve letters, as the case may be.
- Electronic reporting of findings at each stage of the survey.
- Soft copies of protest letters and reports sent via email upon completion.
