Draught Surveying
About
The service entails conducting Initial and Final Surveys to determine the quantity of cargo loaded onto or discharged from the vessel. Intermediate surveys are not included in the scope of this service.
Each survey involves:
- Taking draught readings.
- Dipping of tanks to determine quantities.
- Verification of the integrity of all measuring devices used.
- Verification of the accuracy and integrity of hydrostatic tables and tank calibration charts.
- Electronic reporting of findings at each stage of the survey.
- Issuance of protest letters, where applicable, with soft copies sent via email.
Note: Original hard copies can be sent through a customer-nominated courier. The customer shall pay the courier fee directly to the courier.
